Opinion

Sample images available on the link below. Thow I am a little disapointed with image quality in low light conditions, I find it a very nice little camera. As a "digital camera victim", I have used several types for 2 years. I like this one for it is really compact and light and easy to use for a 10X zoom camera. At full telephoto, I can take clear pictures at 1/8O speed without tripod. Autofocus works well, exposition and white balance too, and the flash is the most powerfull I have meet on a digital camera. (I only buyed it 2 days ago, but it doesn't seem to have the "red eye" problem).

Problems

Quite visible noise at ISO 200 and 400 : as I really like to take indoor portraits without flash in low light conditions, it doesn't make a very good job there. My "Old" Epson PhotoPC 3000 gives really better image quality, thow it has not a powerfull zoom, I will keep this old one for low light pictures.

LCD screen small and bright : not very smart to examine your pictures in play mode.

It is a real shame most digicams don't have hot shoe ! WHY ?
