Opinion

I just tried my new purchase, and am pleasantly surprised. it answers all my needs even at medium image resolution

Body firm, though made of some plastic, fine images, easy to hold, internal memory 32 MB thats a big upgrade from my Mustek MDC 800 0.9 MP fixed lens old brick

Maybe other cameras are somewhat better, but with the price of 299 euros I find it quite a bargain for cost-conscious users

Two thumbs up !!

Problems

One thing really sux - the optical viewfinder cuts margins of the picture, so real picture is really larger than what you see. this makes me swich on preview too often and depletes battery faster

I'd like also to be able to adjust display brightness and to desactivate automatic switch-off

besides:

the lens cover drops off rather easily when carrying the camera in the pocket (definitely I need a carrying bag)

the drivers CD was faulty - but upgraded version can be downloaded from Kodak

drivers would not fit the Windows NT

can not be used as webcam (but who the heck cares)

Hey, you guys know how to remove fingerprints from the lens without scratching it too much?
