Opinion

Just a great camera! After using two Sony Cybershots (P32 and P10), this FinePix was a major upgrade.

Don't forget to use Macro (even when your subject isn't so close) and High Speed Shooting (even when your subject isn't moving).

In order to protect the lens, I bought a cheap 55mm UV filter. If you save your pictures in Cromo mode, you probably won't need a polarizer filter, nor Photoshop's Auto-levels/Autocotrast ;-)

If you have a 1Gb XD card, and if you're planning to take less then 100 pictures, I hardly recommend RAW format. Each picture has 10.2 Mb (!), but the details are amazing!

Problems

- Hard-to-use manual focus;

- Noise at high ISO (ISO 200 has some noise);

- Auto-focus beeps even when all sounds are turned "off" in the menu;

- Flash is activated even in clear indoor spaces. If you don't use the flash, the pictures "shake" a bit. However, if you use it, the subject becomes clear and the background dark. I need to do some experiencies in order to find a solution.
