Custom Image sub-menu
The Custom Image menu, reached via the control panel, allows control over the image parameters. Pressing the exposure compensation button takes an image to preview the settings. Rolling the rear dial switches between standard and fine sharpening. Parameters can be selected and changed using the multi controller.

Adjusts saturation in color modes.
In monochrome mode, the camera varies the amount of information taken from the sensor's Red, Green and Blue channels in order to mimics the effect of placing different colored filters in front of the lens. |

Image Adjust menu
The Image Adjust menu on the K-x works in the same way as on the K-7. Pressing the down arrow while in playback mode jumps to this menu.
Digital Filter menu
The digital filter menu, accessed from within the Image Adjust menu acts as home to most of the camera's JPEG processing tools and effects.
