This is our standard studio scene comparison shot taken from exactly the same tripod position. Lighting: daylight simulation, >98% CRI. Crops are 100%. Ambient temperature was approximately 22°C (~72°F). Camera settings as per previous pages.

Pentax K-7 vs. Canon EOS 50D

Both cameras gain a small amount of extra detail through RAW processing in Adobe ACR but the difference is just a tad more visible on the EOS 50D. Again, you'd need to zoom in to a 100% view to spot the difference though.
