The K2000 inherits the six Custom Image presets seen in the K20D and K200D. Each of the custom presets has a slightly different mix of image color mapping, contrast, saturation and sharpness. The default is either Bright or Natural (depending on which part of the world you live in). All six of the custom image modes are fully customizable.

Custom Image Mode Studio comparison
As the samples below show there's quite a difference between the two default options, Bright and Natural, with the former using slightly higher saturation, contrast and sharpness; the latter more suited to post processing. The other three color Custom Image modes are fairly minor variations on the first two.
