This is our standard studio scene comparison shot taken from exactly the same tripod position. Lighting: daylight simulation, >98% CRI. Crops are 100%. Ambient temperature was approximately 22°C (~72°F).

Pentax K200D vs. Nikon D60

At print or on-screen viewing size you won't see much difference between these images but again the K200D is being slightly let down by its overambitious sharpening algorithms. The Nikon strikes a much better balance between sharpness and image artifacts and produces a slightly softer but also much cleaner image.
