This is our standard studio scene comparison shot taken from exactly the same tripod position. Lighting: daylight simulation, >98% CRI. Crops are 100%. Ambient temperature was approximately 22°C (~72°F).

Pentax K200D	Canon EOS 450D

The EOS 450D makes good use of its extra resolution and produces an image that is both slightly more detailed and cleaner than the Pentax. The K200D output is more vibrant showing more saturated colors and stronger contrasts.
