Noise Reduction settings

The L10 has five levels of noise reduction from -2 to +2. The graph below shows the effect of setting the Noise Reduction to the highest and lowest settings at ISO 400, ISO 800 and ISO 1600 (compared to '0' - the default). As you can see the difference is fairly small, particularly at ISO 800.

Below are the crops for the graph data above, plus ISO 100 for reference. It's worth noting that irrespective of the range offered by the five noise reduction options even the lowest (-2) level of NR is quite strong; if you want lower NR you'll need to shoot raw.
