Setup Menu
The Setup menu allows adjustment of basic operational settings like date/time, screen brightness and energy saving options to prolong battery life, as well as an option for memory card formatting. The GX1 can be connected to an HDMI screen at a choice of different output resolutions. You can also connect the camera to a compatible 3D TV when viewing images shot with the H-FT012E lens.

Playback menu
The Playback menu is where you control slideshow and image review options. From this menu you can title, resize, crop and rotate images in-camera. You can also split video captures into two segments; an option that can come in handy when trying to trim an unwanted segment of a clip.
