At ISO 400 the SD550 is noticeably noisier and softer, though again the Stylus 800 image looks slightly over-processed (compare the playing card crops) and - though sharper, doesn't seem to have considerably more detail. Otherwise the results are remarkably similar, and you wouldn't see a huge difference in a print.
