Camera Menus
![]() |
The E-P1 has a revised version of the menu system seen in the most recent E-system DSLRs. The settings menu allows just about every aspect of the camera's behavior to be tweaked and fine-tuned to your tastes and then hidden if you don't find yourself regularly changing those settings. This is the least satisfying area of the E-P1; it's over-complex, inconsistent, occasionally illogical and it's way too easy to get lost. |

Select the color / tone response from five pre-programmed settings. Each can then be further tuned by setting contrast / sharpness / saturation (in 5 steps, Lo - Hi). Monotone mode also has options to simulate the effect of four colored filters and the ability to add four tints to the final image. |
| Gradation | • Auto • High Key • Normal • Low Key |
Set the type of gradation, H extends bright gradations, L extends dark gradations. Auto splits the image into regions and selects settings for each. |
