Studio scene comparison (RAW)

This is our standard studio scene comparison shot taken from exactly the same tripod position. Lighting: daylight simulation, >98% CRI. Crops are 100%. Ambient temperature was approximately 22°C (~72°F).

Olympus E-620 (RAW) vs. Canon EOS 500D (RAW)

Again, the E-620 is being out-gunned in terms of the finest detail. This result shouldn't be considered definitive because of the use of different RAW converters but it's not inconsistent with what we've seen before from Olympus. Basically, the E-620's JPEG engine seems to be getting the best out of the RAW file, but its rivals still have a bit more detail to give.
