Olympus E-620 vs. Olympus E-520

Camera settings:

  • Olympus E-620: Olympus 50 mm F2 Macro lens, Aperture Priority, ISO 100
JPEG Large/SuperFine, Manual WB, Default Parameters (Standard), Self-Timer

  • Olympus E-520: Olympus 50 mm F2 Macro lens, Aperture Priority, ISO 100
JPEG Large/SuperFine, Manual WB, Default Parameters (Standard), Self-Timer
Olympus E-620
Olympus E-520
7.1 MB JPEG (4032 x 3024)
5.9 MB JPEG (3648 x 2736)

Other than the difference in magnification caused by the higher resolution of the E-620 (the image is framed in the same way, so there are more pixels to describe each part of the image), there aren't any major differences between the two cameras. Even looking at the finest detail in the scene, there's no real distinction between them.
