Camera Menus
As has already been said, the menus on the Olympus are long - an unfortunate consequence of the extensive customization the E520 offers. However, the behavior of the menus is a little odd in places - some levels of menu automatically scroll on to the options of the next 'tab,' while others loop within their tab. And some option screens are escaped by pressing the left arrow, others by pressing the 'menu' button. It's not a big deal but does make using the menus more awkward than necessary.

The E-520's menus are split into five tabbed groups: Record menu (2), Play menu and Setup menu (2). Use the 4-way controller to move down the tabs, press right to enter the menu and change settings. Each menu is described below. |
