• Ability to take both CF & SM cards
• SLR look and feel
• True TTL viewfinder
• Very flexible manual features (if limited in apertures)
• Good metering
• Good white balance (with easy-to-use manual preset)
• External flash hot-shoe
• Good, detailed manual (if confusingly organised)
• Large internal memory buffer
• Fast operation
• Batteries and charger!

• Noise visible on images, especially in shadows
• Stuck pixels on long exposures
• Limited number of apertures (2 only??)
• Barrel & Pincishion distortion
• Chromatic Abberations
• Odd colour-shift from review image to real image
• Real manual focus ring should be on a "digital SLR"
• Not-so-good viewfinder (compared to even cheap 35mm SLR's)
• No USB(!?)

Overall conclusion

Here's my rating of the Olympus C-2500L:

The C-2500L will still appeal to alot of buyers and I'm sure Olympus will sell bucket loads of them, it produces high quality images and is a true digital SLR with a TTL viewfinder. Lots of manual features and lots of unique features, for me though it just falls short of what it really should be and should have, and I'm still concerned as to why it feels like an "inbetweener".
