Record mode menus
The C-2500L record menu is fairly logical with everything to be found on four pages, when you first use the menu system it can feel a little clunky but soon becomes fairly quick to use (full description of record menu options below).
Setting the Whitebalance manually displays this target icon, aim the camera at a white source (white paper / wall / gray object) and hit OK, if the camera gets a good white balance from your selection "GOOD" is displayed

Play mode menus
In playback mode the menu is very simple, you can start a slideshow, copy from one media to another (CF -> SM or SM -> CF) you can erase all images on the current media or format the current media and you can setup the brightness for display of images.
Copying between media
When copying from one media to another a progress chart is displayed
