
Play Menu

The play menu is a
simple enough affair (compared to the record menus anyway ;) all the
options fit onto one page, in addition to this there's also a dedicated
setup page. |
Play Menu Summary Map
The map below is a summary of menu options in play mode, click on the
menu option heading to jump to more detailed information about the option
or simply scroll down to browse through the options.

Play Menu
Delete
Folders
 |
The Folders menu allows
you to select the active folder (for play actions), create, rename
and delete folders on the storage card. By default the camera will
create one NIKON folder, simply select "Options" to create
a new folder, this is useful for categorising your photos or separating
them.

Slide Show

Starts a slideshow display
of images on storage card / in currently selected folder:

Start - Begin slideshow, each image is
shown on the LCD monitor, the delay before showing the next
image is defined by Frame Intvl (below) |

Frame Int(er)v(a)l - Allows you to select
a frame interval of 2, 3 (default), 5 or 10 seconds |

Protect
 |
Enters a 2 x 3 thumbnail
view used to mark images as protected, when an image is protected
the key icon will appear in the bottom corner of the display when
viewing the image. Once an image is protected it can not be deleted
except by a CF card format. |
Hide Image
 |
Enters a 2 x 3 thumbnail
view used to mark images as hidden, when an image is hidden it does
not appear in play mode either browsing or a thumbnail view. Once
an image is hidden it can not be deleted except by a CF card format. |
Print Set
 |
Enters a 2 x 3 thumbnail
view used to mark images to be printed, use the up and down cursors
on the 4-way direction pad to select the number of copies of each
image, when an image is selected for printing the printer icon will
appear in the bottom corner of the display when viewing the image. |
Auto Transfer
 |

| A new feature of Nikon
View 4 (supplied with the 995) is the ability to automatically transfer
images as soon as the camera is connected to the computer, you can
choose to auto transfer all images or just selected images. |
