Scene Menu

Pressing the MENU button with the Scene user setting selected displays the scene mode selection menu. Each scene mode is represented by an icon, use the multi selector to select the required scene mode then press the SET button to select that mode. A shortcut to selecting Scene mode is to hold the FUNC button and turn the command dial. The current scene mode is indicated by SCE1 - SCEc on the Control Panel display. |

My Menu (P, S, A, M)

Pressing the MENU button in one of the manual record modes (P, S, A or M) displays the "My Menu" over the current live view. This menu has five options which can be customized by the user to best fit their shooting style or situation. By default this menu has the options seen on the left. Select the 'Show all menus' option to revert to the full Shooting menu (described below). |

The full record menu is split across three pages, use the multi selector to move up and down options, certain options can be changed by rolling the main dial, otherwise press the right arrow to enter a sub-menu and change a setting. |

This menu provides you with control over the way the camera selects the AF area mode, whether it evaluates auto focus all the time (continuous) or just when you half-press the shutter release and when focus confirmation (LCD image sharpening effect) is used. |
