A-REC menu

The auto record menu is kind of limited to a few options (keep it simple stupid). This is basically a subset of the Manual RECORD menu (described more fully below). Only noticeable difference between this and the 950 A-REC menu is the lack of sound option (the 700 doesn't have a beep). |
M-REC menu
 |
This is a composite of the Manual RECORD menu, with the 700 you don't have the convenience of the 950s command wheel to change options, you must enter the submenu to change options. Noteworthy is the fact that the CCD sensitvity (something that doesn't exist on cameras in the same class) is a menu option and not accessable from an "outside camera control". Menus are navigated using the rear up/ down buttons and menu options are selected by pressing the shutter release (BacK always takes you to the previous menu), below is shown an example of a sub-menu:
