At ISO 400 it's pretty much the same story - the Panasonic noise reduction still looks very unnatural, but I know which would produce the better print - or certainly the most detailed. With small sensor cameras ISO 200 and above is never going to be fantastic, and there is always a compromise between keeping noise at bay on one hand, and retaining detail on the other. I'm no fan of Panasonic's 'watercolor' noise reduction effect, but at next to the Kodak result it looks pretty good!
