Like the ISO 80 comparison there is really not that much difference between these two cameras at ISO 400, which is not very surprising since the two cameras share the same lens and image processing system. Looking closely, if anything the SX10 IS, with its CCD technology, performs slightly better then the SX1 IS in terms of fine detail and noise and a cleaner pixel-level appearance.
