At ISO 800 the Canon SD850 is not doing a bad job at all but it can't compete with the Fuji's Super-CCD output. The FD50fd's images are visible cleaner and sharper even at the higher 12MP resolution. Scaled down to normal enlargement levels (for print or on-screen viewing) the difference is even more apparent.
