Below you will find a studio comparison between the Canon PowerShot S70 and the Sony Cyber-shot P-150 at ISO 400.

Again the Canon delivers a slightly sharper (more detailed) result, though this time the difference is less obvious due to the visible noise in both images. To be fair the level of noise actually appears to be less than the 5MP models these cameras replace, though this seems to be the result of slightly more aggressive noise reduction and less in-camera sharpening. Again the S70 seems to be slightly more sensitive at the ISO400 setting than the Sony P150 (maybe 0.25 or 0.5 stops).
