Image parameters: Color matrix
Color matrix has a total of seven settings, five presets and two user
definable custom matrices (any combination of color space, saturation
and color tone). Note that images taken in the Adobe RGB color space have
their filename prefixed with an underscore (_) this complies with DCF
2.0 (Exif 2.21). The five preset matrices combinations are show in the
table below.

Color matrix: Color space
Note that in these samples the Adobe RGB image has not been converted
to sRGB and so to view it correctly you will have to load it into a color
space aware photo application and assign the Adobe RGB color space. Below
each sample is that image's CIE u'v' Color Distribution chart; larger
gray triangle approximately represents the range of color which the human
eye can resolve, the inner triangle the available gamut in each color
space (sRGB or Adobe RGB).

Color matrix: Custom saturation
Saturation adjustment allows you to control the strength
of color in the final image. As you can see in the sample below although
the Mark II provides a five level adjustment of this parameter the actual
effect on color saturation is quite subtle.

Color matrix: Custom color tone
Color tone subtly adjusts the hue of the image, a negative
setting makes color appear more reddish, a positive setting makes color
appear more yellowish.
