The real surprise is how much better than its predecessor the Mark IV is. The Mark IV is able to render much finer detail than the Mark III and do so without exhibiting the color moiré visible in the very finest detail of the older camera. This cleaner processing, combined with the sensor's higher resolution makes the result pretty convincing.
