Samples Galleries

There are 27 images in the samples gallery. Please do not reproduce any of these images on a website or any newsletter / magazine without prior permission. I make the originals available for private users to download to their own machines for personal examination or printing (in conjunction with this review), I do so in good faith, please don't abuse it.

Unless otherwise noted images taken with no particular settings at 3072 x 2048 resolution. A reduced size image (within 800 x 800 bounds) is provided to be more easily viewed in your browser. As always the original untouched image is available by clicking on this reduced image. Some images were taken in the Adobe RGB color space, this will be noted above the sample, the reduced size image will have been converted to the sRGB color space for in-browser viewing.

What was the "kit lens" to this camera?

It was the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. The IS was a very good feature!

As I know in practice, the 3fps-rated drive mode averaged about 2.3fps shooting RAW files and high-quality JPEGs; low-quality JPEG increases that to only about 2.6fps.
