Sony DSLR-A700 (RAW) vs. Olympus E-3 (RAW)
Sony DSLR-A700 (RAW)
Olympus E-3 (RAW)
3.4 MB JPEG (4272 x 2848)
2.8 MB JPEG (3648 x 2736)
Interestingly the E-3's RAW converted image is actually less sharp than the JPEG from the camera (images taken as RAW+JPEG pairs), this could be down to a stronger anti-alias filter which is being compensated for by the camera processor (more sharpening) but that the amount of sharpening included in our standard workflow isn't enough (we will cover this in more detail in our E-3 review).
