This is our standard studio scene comparison shot taken from exactly the same tripod position. Lighting: daylight simulation, >98% CRI. Crops are 100%. Ambient temperature was approximately 22°C (~72°F). Camera settings as per previous pages.

The EOS 550D appears to have a lighter anti-aliasing low pass filter as well as high resolution sensor and that's a difficult combination to compete with. The Samsung is doing a good job but the Canon is excelling, capturing the finest detail in the scene without even a hint of the moiré that can result from a weak low-pass filter.
