Compared to... Panasonic DMC-LX2

Many potential purchasers of the GX100 will undoubtedly have also looked at the Panasonic LX2; it has a similar feature set and it too features a wideangle lens (though not as wide) and raw file format. In this section we've included comparisons at each camera's lowest ISO setting and ISO 400.

Although the GX100 has a fairly significant vertical resolution advantage it doesn't make a huge difference to the amount of detail in the pictures captured - in fact the LX2's Leica lens offers better corner to corner sharpness and You'd be hard pushed to see any difference in a print. You can also see - if you look very closely - more noise in the GX100 image; the flipside of this is that the Panasonic output shows hints of noise reduction artefacts, though again only if you look very, very closely.
