This is our standard studio scene comparison shot taken from exactly the same tripod position. Lighting: daylight simulation, >98% CRI. Crops are 100%. Ambient temperature was approximately 22°C (~72°F). Camera settings as per previous pages.

Again the K10D gains more by use of RAW (mainly because its JPEG output is so soft), and again appears to offer better 'per pixel' sharpness (though the result looks less clean than the E-510). Adding a little more sharpening to the E-510 output reduces the differences to an almost insignificant level.
