At ISO 400 the difference is much more pronounced, with the SP-500UZ's more modern sensor really redeeming itself, producing results needing much less aggressive noise reduction, meaning there's a lot more detail. If you're not printing at sizes much over 5x7 inches these results will be perfectly acceptable.
