Here we're going to compare the E-20 to the Sony DSC-F707
and Nikon Coolpix 5000.
Image Quality Comparison: Studio (Standard Scene)
Our almost standard still life scene. Lighting - 2 x 800W studio lights
with dichroic daylight filters bounced off a white ceiling reflector.
All cameras set to aperture priority and preset white balance (taken from
a grey card). Aperture chosen produced optimum sharpness from all cameras.
Crops below are 'blown up' 200%, apart from the last which is at 100%.

Overall the E-20 did fairly well, it's clearly not stealing
the lead from the Sony DSC-F707. Here are my observations: (I expect you
to make your own)
Jaggies on diagonal lines of the Martini label
Not as much resolution available as the DSC-F707
Better handling of bright colours than both the DSC-F707 and Coolpix
5000
There is some indication of lens aberrations around the black of the
Martini (top) and Kodak (bottom) logos
Dotted appearance to the solid black lines of the ruler
