The C-40Z features the same new 4-way menu system we first saw on the C-700UZ. On the first page the MODE MENU option is fixed, the other three can be reconfigured to jump into the record menu for a particular option. The main record mode menu is split across four sections (Camera, Picture, Card, Setup) indicated by a menu tab on the left side. Normally this is displayed over (semitransparent) the live view. |

Just like the record menu the initial 'entry' into the play menu is via this four-way quick access screen. From here you can choose to start a slideshow, change the information overlay detail (select INFO), mark the image for printing (DPOF) or enter the main play mode menu. Normally this 4-way quick access screen and menu are displayed over (semitransparent) the reviewed image. |
