SoftwareZoomBrowser EX (contd.)RAW Image TaskSelect one or more RAW images then click on the 'Process RAW Images...' option to launch the RAW IMAGE Task window. The main window is has a straightforward layout, the main viewing window in the middle, above this a toolbar, and the menu bar. On the left are thumbnails of the RAW images to be converted (you can batch convert images with the same development conditions if required). Output formats are JPEG and TIFF (8/16-bit). RAW Image Task isn't quick by any standards, any adjustment to a setting means a two or three second delay (even on a fast PC). This is primarily because RIT is designed to exactly emulate the camera's image processing pipeline (give exactly the same results as the camera). In addition to this main window there are also four floating windows; Image Quality ADjustment, Properties, Histogram and Navigator.
RAW adjustments which can be applied from the Image Quality Adjustment window:
Remote Shooting / EOS CaptureSelect the 'Remote shooting' option from ZoomBrowser or CameraWindow to launch the EOS Capture remote control application which allows you to control camera settings and trigger exposures on a tethered camera. Images are saved to the local hard disk (and optionally also the storage card). Settings are adjusted by clicking on the setting on the display panel and pressing the left or right adjustment arrows. Additionally you can also execute 'Timer Shooting' (time lapse) which can be configured to take an exposure at specific intervals.
