I ran a resolution test using the Tamron Auto Focus 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) Macro Vs. The Zeiss Loxia 50/2. Stupendous Zoom Range, tack sharp focus, reasonably fast AF decent Macro overall a great Value Problems: sometimes(very rareley) the autofocus doesn't focus on the correct area, but doesn't happen often enough to make me NT like this lens.
