Please help me, Posted this on sony nex - aps-c forum too. I'm trying to decide between a Brand new Sony A6000 + 18-105 f4.0 vs Sony Rx10 (version 1) (this one will be a used one). It will mainly be used for wedding video (75% video and 25% stills). It will be an A cam (the a6000 is more expensive and im afriad it will overheat.. I have a sony a55 and it overheats a 4 or 5 minutes in direct sunlight; The Sony A7 I sold.. overheated too but rarely. I had a a57 (didn´t overheat) that was stolen...

I tried some long exposure photography of fire dancers and was trying to use rear sync to illuminate the dancers at the end of the exposure. Unfortunately I'm getting a flash at the beginning AND end of the exposure, causing a "double exposure" type problem.  I'm probably just being an idiot somehow--I just got the A77ii and I don't know the flash that well either, but I don't recall having this problem with my A300. I'm using the ADPMAA adapter if that makes any difference. For those that...

Hi, I use the best real-mirror camera ever (a580) and recently decided to purchase the Sony 16-50 lens. I was sure and almost clicking "buy now", while I'he read that a77 has some dedicated correction settings. So - does that mean that with my a580 it wouldn't work fine? So I should either resign from this lens or force myself to change the camera to a77? Thanks

Hi folks,  I still have this lens and I haven't had the funds to purchase the A77II.   I purchased this tamron lens at a used camera show for $480 bucks out the door.  Did I made a great purchase?  I remember when this lens came out years ago and I very briefly compared it to the sigma 70-200 lens at that time as well, and this tamron lens was sharper.   I can't find formal tests/ reviews on this tamron 70-200 NON VC.  Where there any tests done on this lens?   What's your opinion on this...

No matter how the background is, i can easily focus on the bird but not the background. However, for A77II, even i use center AF, 9 point AF (I can hold my center AF point at the bird body). All shoots goes to he background not the bird. Even with eagles with around 50m far, all shots dead. My af motor speed is high and my AF tracking time is 5. Did i do...

Hey guys, I recently had my A77II stolen and had to reorder another one.  I remember having a lot of trouble updating the firmware to 2.00.  Well now I'm trying to update the firmware on my new A77II and its doing the same thing.  Someone had a trick to make it work and I can't remember what it is.  Ive looked at the step by step and it doesnt help.  I'm running OSX 10.10.4. Thank you in advance. Frank

I have read multiple comments that the new sony A77II high iso capability is not that great.  Is this accurate? Why is that? I mean, we are in 2015 and on top of that doesn't sony make "the best" sensors?? Nikon uses sony, fuji, and pentax, all with very good high iso output. So how does something like this happen? Did sony put one of their cheap inexpensive sensors in this camera? I am not a camera sensor engineer, but is it not the sensor that produces clean images at higher ISO? or is it...

Does anyone know if the Really Right Stuff A77 bracket fits properly on an A77ii? I've asked RRS but not heard a reply yet. Thanks! Russ

I uploaded an image from our A77II onto one of those shutter count sites, and I also downloaded an EXIF extraction software, and both of them claim that our A77II has about 12 MILLION shutter actuations. 12124123 or something ridiculous like that. We've taken a lot of photos over the past year, sure, but definitely not 12 million. How is this possible? Is it just an incorrect count? --http://www.lightfinity.net

Hi, I understand that I can use this flash with all Alpha mount camera eg. A77 etc. I bought this flash which I thought I could use it with Sony A6000, how wrong I am. It is not compatible. Does anyone know an adaptor, i.e. Sony model no. or generic brand, which I can mount on my A6000 hot shoe so that it accept/accommodate this flash, so that I use this flash? Thanks in advance.
