This was posted in the FF forum, but I've had exactly the same experience with the A6000. Does anyone have experience with this on past or current Sony models? Is this a camera problem or user error? ******"According to Gary Freidman's book, one needs to dial in some negative compensation for using a Sony flash on A7x. In other words, some negative EV compensation is needed to yield correct exposures. I have similar observations when I use a Sony flash directly on the subject. I usually use...
After purchasing a Sony RX 100 MIII a year ago and selling off the balance of my NEX and Canon gear, I've been researching another DSLR for some time. (I came to the realization that while I LOVE the MIII, it is just not suited for some of the stuff I'm trying to do again. i.e. Kids sports as they are getting older, more nature and landscape etc. due to lack of real zoom. Don't get me wrong, this camera is fantastic for it's size, but yeah, I miss the bigger bundle. To get to the point....
Hi guys, I bought an LAEA4 adapter and the lovely little SAL85F28, and I'm currently renting the SAL 70300G2 and Sigma 1835F18 for my a6000 for the long holiday weekend. This is fun! I've never been able to find a guide on how to best use the adapters so I thought I'd ask if any of you know where I can find one. Favorite settings, how to lock on targets, limitations, etc. I'm also renting an a77II to compare handling on the lenses with a native camera versus my little a6000 + adapter. Thank...
I hope I am posting this is the right section! Hello, So I am an ameuter photographer who is thinking about branching out and starting to photograph more people portrait, engagement, events, wedding (maybe), etc. I've done photos for people I know and close friends and I was starting to think about really advertising more but then I realized that there are a lot of legal aspects to consider. And of course I didn't want to dig myself a hole that I shouldn't be in, in the first place. Of course...
Hi All, Recently I have been on a great trip. Back home my Sony alpha a77 m1 started to give some errror messages. Looking at my photos, I have started doubting whether problems already existed during my trip. That is, I find the noise reduction a bit weird.. yet maybe I am just being to picky, looking at 200%. So please help me out and have a look for me. I am really concerned right now that all (6000) pictures would be ruined. So I'd really appreciate if you could let me know if this amount...

Hello all I have a close friend of mine who is about to get married (this Saturday). It's a small backyard wedding and she had a photographer but the person went from charging 100 to 400 and so she didn't want to use her anymore (that's what i was told). Now she asked if I could do the photos and I told her I didn't mind at all but warned her that I've never been the actual photographer for a wedding (just a bystander with a camera). The only external lighting I have is my Sony HVLF60M flash....
