Hi, I was wondering if any of the lucky A77II owners could confirm its compatibility with the Sigma APO 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM lens? Would the lens need any firmware upgrade or some other special treatment to work with the A77II? Will I be able to use the focus peaking feature? Also, I hope I should not expect any problems with my other lens, Sony DT 16-50mm F2.8 SSM, which I got a few months ago? (Well, they sell it together with the A77II, but maybe it's a newer revision?) Thanks for...

Hello! I am an amateur in photography and have owned a Sony SLT A-35 with a 18-55mm Kit Lens for about 2 years. I am thinking of upgrading my gears or get a new camera. Based on a lot of professional friend photographers and internet search, it seems that I should invest in Nikon or Canon. But I want to hear more from the Sony crowd. I am looking into going deeper into photography and I am wondering if it is worth it to invest professionally into Sony. I see that a lot of top professional...

Maybe in the future i would like to add more flashes for some flashes to. My doubt is, if i want to use 2 or more flashes simultaneously i will need wireless trigger? If yes, can i use this:? http://www.amazon.com/Cheaplights-Channel-Wireless-Receivers-OTT-04GY/dp/B004KIUJF4/ref=sr_1_2?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1370801406&sr=1-2 or you can show me one that...

Does anyone here use a Nissin Di866 Mark II with an A37, A57, A65, or A77? If so, I'd appreciate it if you could answer a couple of questions: What specifically does the firmware update do, i.e., what features don't work prior to the update? I have an A37 and I'm assuming it will work even though it's not listed as being compatible. Has anyone here actually tried it with an A35 or A37? Thanks,Randy

Trying to decide between, Panasonic fz200, Sony hx200v or Sony hx300. A year or so ago i purchased her a Sony a35 dslr with 18-55 and 55-200mm lenses. However after a year she still doesnt understand how to do anything besides point and shooting. The dslr is a little bit too complicated for her. So im selling it to a friend to buy her a super zoom camera. heres the pro's and cons between the 3 cameras based from what ive read. Panasonic  FZ200 Pros: Has a lcd screen that can be used for self...

hi. I have the a35 for over a year now....it's paired up with the heavy 16-50 f2.8. Recently I have been facing some problems........the lens mount is a little wobbly......the screws are tight though.....others the lens moves by around a millimeter side to side (rotationaly). This happens when zooming in and out with big heavy lenses.......and when that happens , the camera won't read the lens sometimes.......and the aperture will go off.........I'm am certain it's not the lens fault because...

Hi everyone,I regularly follow DPReview articles but haven't participated much in the forums.  However, I am in the market for a new DSLR and am having just the hardest time deciding which direction to go.  Let me first give you a little background on what I am typically shoot.  Most of my shots are of the travel, architecture, landscape/nature, and macro variety.  Most importantly though, I need something to take pictures of my very active toddler.  I tend to shoot mostly in manual mode, so...
