Sony Alpha NEX-F3

I've been reading through a few threads on this but couldn't see an obvious answer to this (does such a thing exist!?)... On my NEX-F3 I often use focus peaking and MF assist (auto magnification when you touch the focus ring when on manual focus. The problem is that MF assist is only useful in certain situations. If the subject is moving or not centered, for example, MF assist can actually make it impossible to compose a shot. What I'd love is the ability to toggle it on/off without having...

Hi, guys. Please help me to choose! I am buying a new camera and narrowed it down to these two. Can anyone who has put their hands on both of the devices/or at least one of them/ suggest which one should I buy.I would go for both the 18-55mm Lens and the  55-200mm Lens on the NEX, but still, would it make it a better choice compared to the HX300? Thanks!

Hi, first of all, thanks for the great website! ;-) When using the studio comparison tool with different cameras, say the Olympus XZ1 (max. f1,8-2,5) and the Sony NEX F3 (max. f3,5-5,6), do I have to compare them at say ISO 400 and 1600 respectively (doing only JPEG comparisons)?  To me it seems like I should, because the XZ1 is approx. 2 stops brighter. Or are there so many other variables involved (like sensor, jpeg-engine, etc.) that an answer to this is not as simple? Another question...

I have the Sony Nex F3. When I shoot Raw+jpg it seems like I'm not able to shoot as many pics per second. Actually the continous mode doesn't seem to actually work as well. Does this make sense?

Hi, people, glad to be a part of this community, have been reading for a long time and thought it was already time I joined in. Since the price difference is quite large between the NEX F3 and the A57 here in my country (Brasil) I´d like to know which one delivers the best IQ.
