Sony Alpha NEX-5R

Two years ago i purchased a Sony Nex 5N. It was my first interchangeable lens camera, and it let me create terrific photos even in low light. But it was stolen 2 months ago and, after searching for weeks other camera brands, i decided to go with the Nex-5R. I've had the 5R+16-50PZ for a couple of weeks and thought I'd post my initial thoughts, for what they're worth. Prior to the 5R I was using a Nikon D80 and a Panasonic TZ7, neither of them exactly recent aquisitions. Evaluated Olympus EPL5 & Sony NEX5R. Chose the NEX in a close call & do not regret the choice. Reasons: - More detail definition in RAW especially at higher ISO - JPEG very close at low ISO, with NEX noticably better at higher ISO. Olympus a little sharper & colour true-er at lower ISO default settings (Sony was a little too red & a little soft for me), but after some saved customisation, NEX surprisingly matched or bettered Olympus IQ throughout the range.
