I have three different cameras and want to make sure I get them all set correctly so the footage is compatible when I go to edit a video. I have a Sony RX100 iii, a Sony NEX-5R, and a GoPro 4 Silver. The GoPro records in MP4 and the Sony cameras record in AVCHD or MP4, but the settings for MP4 are limited. Will it be an issue when I go to edit if the Sony footage is in AVCHD and the GoPro is MP4? Can anyone suggest what settings to use for each camera? Sony RX 100 M3: (AVCHD) 60p Avg. 28 Mbps...

Hey everyone so I just noticed my Sony NEX-5T has a focusing noise issue (its noticable when its pretty quiet) when autofocusing it's more present with a high shutter speed or focus close on things on my kit lenses but on my SEL50F18 it's constant in video & before I take a photo with it. If any of you have a NEX 5R/5T please test it out! If mine is defective I will take it back for repair it's very annoying Thank you so much! (: It sounds like this I found a video on Youtube I wonder if it's...

Hi Guys, Bit Background (Feel free to skip to list :-) ) I recently started learning about photography as a hobby. Initially, I wasn't sure how far I would go into this so I just preferred to stick to my smartphone camera rather than making any investments n a camera. And 1 year later, I can say it has grown a lot on me. So far I had been using my smartphone (OnePlus One) as my primary camera. Mostly I tried to learn and understand whatever was available to me, like composition, shutter...

I am not sure if I should rent the Zeiss 32mm 1.8 or the Sony 35mm 1.8.I plan to use it to shoot video, and was wondering if the Sony's lens with image stabilization would be the better solution?https://www.borrowlenses.com/product/Zeiss-Touit-32mm-f18-Lens-for-Sony-EMounthttps://www.borrowlenses.com/product/Sony-35mm-f1-8-OSS-E-Mount-Lens

Like some of you, I would like to replace the top layer. But when I'm peeling off, seems like something is not right...  the ugly screen. Something not right...   Never see anyone on the internet have this. Is the replacable?  What do you think this is? How can I fix this? If I'm really screw up, is Sony still providing replacement service? Thanks for you help in advanced.

Hello! Long time lurker here and just can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for after searching the interwebz for a few weeks now. Purchased an A7ii a few months ago after deciding to upgrade from the nex5r. Went ahead and got the kit and later purchases the 55 1.8. It's been great and I love it. I love to shoot my 9 year old when she does horse jumping competitions. The 55-210 was great for this with the nex5r in normal light. Now I'm looking for something for my A7ii. More background...

Hi everyone, I've just upgraded from a NEX-5R w/ 90mm Tamron, to a Canon 6D w/ 100mm IS L and am eagerly waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I used the old setup to take lots of spider macros around the house, and part of the deal with the new purchase is to go outside more to parks etc and take them there. I have a couple questions. * I've been reading about how the FOV changes between APS-C and FF cameras. The crop factor was 1.6x, so I think this would mean that my new IS L is going to...

I use PS CS6 and ACR 9.1.1.461. I have my DJI X3 camera set to 0 sharpening, -2 contrast and -2 saturation. When I open a RAW (.DNG) image file from the X3 in ACR it is over saturated. It’s .JPG counterpart is flat and washed out which is what I would expect. The RAW (.ARW) images from the NEX-5r (with similar settings to the X3) open in ACR with exactly the same flat, washed out looks as their .JPG counterparts. Can anyone explain?
