Ok, so I am struggling with my first issue on my A6000. It has nothing to do with the camera functions, but to do with the folder storage and playback. What is happening is I am taking shots, then moving them to my computer for editing. Once moved to the computer I then delete them from the card. This is what I have been doing with all of my previous NEX's.All looks good until I put the card back in and try and review any All looks good until I put the card back in and try and review any...

Hi, Currently I have a NEX5n and a NEX6 that I've had since my A77 and NEX3 were stolen. I definitely enjoy their portability (2 camera+lenses in a slingshot). Having become a bit disillusioned with phase AF in the past (for fast primes) fast legacy/new manual glass has seen a lot of use lately. For outdoor in daylight sport / people / movement I've been using the 55-210 with mixed but OKish AF results and for non-quick animals outdoors in daylight the Minolta  MF 300 4,5. Have an LA-EA2 and...

I recently got a couple of the infamous ix Nikkor zoom lenses as part of a multi-lens purchase. There is some talk on the web that they are not half bad, so i thought i would try them on my NEX3/6 cameras. These lenses use a standard Nikon G mount although they protrude too far into the body so they cannot be used in regular Nikon DSLRs. However there are reports that they work fine, with adapters of course, in NEX as well as in micro 4/3 cameras. I have two Nikon G to NEX adapters (labeled...

I am moving to a DSLR from my NEX3 in order to deal with indoor & outdoor sports shooting. The NEX3 with fast old pentax primes is fantastic but the need to open up the aperture indoors means that the lack of autofocus and tracking makes getting good shots very hit and miss. I just can't check the focus peaking, do the focusing, track the subject and time the exposure all at once reliably. So I am looking for a camera/lens combo that will autofocus quickly, track, has excellent low light...

Hi. I have been using a NEX-3 at work for the past year, but it got stolen. I was hoping to get advice on a suitable replacement. I take anywhere from 300-1000 pictures a day of houses, inside and out. I don't have much control over the lighting conditions so many of the shots are backlit, low light, etc... I liked the NEX because you could use it one-handed, it had a great battery (1100 pictures), and a good flash recharge speed. It performed well in low light conditions, not so well with...

I just received my a6000. I have the 55-210mm from my NEX3. The instructions say I should update the lens firmware. But after checking Sony's support website, it is no clearer to me how exactly to do that. Can anyone help me?

Hi there! I am searching for an LCD hood for my sony NEX 3n I just bought. The reason I would like it is to provide the shade and additional mechanical protection for the screen. However, after checking ebay and amazon I could not find any product where it would be explicitely stated that it is for 3n. There are plenty of hoods for nex-3, nex-5, nex-5n and I also found 1 for nex 5r and 5t on Amazon. link:...

Thinking of replacing my kit zoom (old NEX-3 with 18-55) with primes to get sharper photos. (Would love to upgrade the NEX body but can't really afford to) Leaning toward  Sigma 19, 30, 60. The Sigmas rate sharper than Sony in DxO Mark,  and are far less expensive, as comparable Sony lenses BUT - looks like the Sigmas have no optical stabilization. I usually don't carry a tripod - should I be concerned?  (I wonder in landscapes how dawn/dusk will work with no stabilization, also the...

I'm unable to know if the x2.8 LCD Viewfinder V4 3:2 Widescreen 3 inch Taking Video for Sony NEX3 NEX5 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/130748194118?_trksid=p2048036 ) would fit OK in my SONY A 3000, I think its dimensions would fit in the back screen, but does anybody know if the bottom screw adapter is in the right position, or, in other words, is the bottom screw in the same position relative to the screen, in the NEX series and in the a 3000? Tnx in advance --Salvador...
