Hi Guys,  I've searched a lot for answers to these questions but have yet to really find a review or comparison that can convince me not to spend $3200 + $1300 on an A7r II + 16-35 Zeiss combo. I'm predominantly a landscape + astrophotography shooter and actually shoot mostly with a Fuji x100t. It's really suited me well and I LOVE the way the manual controls work.  However, I'm relatively new to more advanced photography overall and am really interested in full frame. I previously owned a...

Hello, I use sony la-ea1 adapter on my a6000 body and DT 55-200mm sam lens. Unfortunately with this combination autofocus does not work at all (even slow one). Since this is SAM lens I expect to have auto focus. My lens firmware version is 0.1. I tried to find firmware update for a6000 and la-ea1, but it does not exist, only for nex3 and nex5. However in youtube I saw guys have slow autofocus with some SAM lenses. Could you please suggest how to solve this issue. Thanks

Ok, so I am struggling with my first issue on my A6000. It has nothing to do with the camera functions, but to do with the folder storage and playback. What is happening is I am taking shots, then moving them to my computer for editing. Once moved to the computer I then delete them from the card. This is what I have been doing with all of my previous NEX's.All looks good until I put the card back in and try and review any All looks good until I put the card back in and try and review any...

Hi, Currently I have a NEX5n and a NEX6 that I've had since my A77 and NEX3 were stolen. I definitely enjoy their portability (2 camera+lenses in a slingshot). Having become a bit disillusioned with phase AF in the past (for fast primes) fast legacy/new manual glass has seen a lot of use lately. For outdoor in daylight sport / people / movement I've been using the 55-210 with mixed but OKish AF results and for non-quick animals outdoors in daylight the Minolta  MF 300 4,5. Have an LA-EA2 and...

I recently got a couple of the infamous ix Nikkor zoom lenses as part of a multi-lens purchase. There is some talk on the web that they are not half bad, so i thought i would try them on my NEX3/6 cameras. These lenses use a standard Nikon G mount although they protrude too far into the body so they cannot be used in regular Nikon DSLRs. However there are reports that they work fine, with adapters of course, in NEX as well as in micro 4/3 cameras. I have two Nikon G to NEX adapters (labeled...

I am moving to a DSLR from my NEX3 in order to deal with indoor & outdoor sports shooting. The NEX3 with fast old pentax primes is fantastic but the need to open up the aperture indoors means that the lack of autofocus and tracking makes getting good shots very hit and miss. I just can't check the focus peaking, do the focusing, track the subject and time the exposure all at once reliably. So I am looking for a camera/lens combo that will autofocus quickly, track, has excellent low light...

Hi. I have been using a NEX-3 at work for the past year, but it got stolen. I was hoping to get advice on a suitable replacement. I take anywhere from 300-1000 pictures a day of houses, inside and out. I don't have much control over the lighting conditions so many of the shots are backlit, low light, etc... I liked the NEX because you could use it one-handed, it had a great battery (1100 pictures), and a good flash recharge speed. It performed well in low light conditions, not so well with...
