I traded my a230 for an a6000. I got the ADP-MAA adapter which allows me to use my minolta-mount flash on the a6000. Well, it works, but it fires at the wrong time. I am new to this, but it seems to be firing prior to the shutter tripping. I spoke to Sony about this and they said that the adapter has minimal functionality, and since I had a Vivitar flash they couldn't help me. So then I tried using the Vivitar flash in slave mode (the old slave, where it goes off when it sees another flash)....
I'm looking for suggestions of a good DSLR (old or new) that I can start researching to buy at a very affordable price that will give me good, crisp photos at a high ISO as well as a fast shutter speed. The reason I picked the Sony is that I'd just bought a new low light Minolta lens to see if I could get the results I was looking for our of my current Sony a230 - which starts to have a lot of noise at 800 iso - so I'd like to be able to use that lens still .....etc.... I like concert...
Hi newly registered to here have a question on my sony dslr a230.I was trying to take photos inside Friday night and I was unable to take any decent photos or change the shutterspeed to anything that wasnt like 10seconds.I was taking pictures of food and was holding the camera by hand. Is there an obvious setting that I should use for this environment or is the camera just not up to it?
Hi friends,I recently upgraded to a Sony A77 from a SOny A230. I was using a third party Sunbliz flash with my A230 which was working perfectly fine. But the flash DOES NOT work with my A77. I took it to the dealer who cleaned the contact and the flash fired a few times but the same problem persisted after that. I dont have access to an original Sony flash to check whether there is a problem with the contact point in my camera.Any suggestion would be much appreciated. A friend suggested to...
