Hi everyone! I just bought the Sony A77 body and now I am going crazy to find out what lens or lenses would be best for me. I originally was considering the sony (or sigma) 50mm 1.4, for low light shooting. The SONY 16-50MM 2.8 for video, as I heard it's a good lens and it has some good range for continued auto focus while recording. And then I also wanted some kind of telephoto, but I dont really want a compromise lens...I have about 2,000 to spend. I was also considering just getting a Carl...
I have just recently purchased an A99 with a CZ 24-70.  So far the video that I have shot with this thing is INCREDIBLE!  However, there are some projects where I will be expected to show up with "cinematic primes"  (i.e. CZ CP.2's for example)...  Does anyone make any kind of adapter for any of these lenses?  Or will that EVER be available?  If they put the E mount on the FF VG900, why couldn't they do that on the A99 as well?
Sony SLT-A99CZ 24mm-70mm HVL-F60M. May I have your opinion. I have one flash (HVL-F60M). I want to have a three flash capability ( one on-camera and two off-camera flashes ). Would you recommend for me to buy two more HVL-F60M flashes for off-camera light during indoor wedding receptions?I love that fact that this setup may perhaps be very compatible and serve as backup if my on-camera flash were to malfunction. I can grab the other flash as quick as possible and would be used to the same...
