My first camera, and I'm still using it. It cannot be beat for auto-focus close ups. I go down to one inch easily, you don't have to switch to macro like other cameras. I only use it for listing on Ebay, so it is great for that purpose. You don't need a lot of pixels, and it is very simple to use. Problems: Not of much use outdoors because you can't really see the viewing screen in the sun.

For an easy point and shoot camera to post pictures on the web, monitor, or e-mail, this camera is excellent. The use of floppies is a definite plus, just snap the photo, pop the floppy out of the camera and into the computer A: drive and there you are, no cable connections or software needed. Take pictures at work or a friend's house and use their computer to show the photos. If they want copies, just hit "Disk Copy", pop in a blank floppy and in a half minute hand them their copies. It ...

I boght this camera last year and I have been using it since then. Its ease to use is wonderful and i could learn how to use it within a few minutes. The number of (useful) features and the image quality is quite satisfactory within its price range. A nice buy! Problems: none

The FD75 is the first digital camera I have ever owned. It is simply great. The disk is good because no cables, simply load in drive, click on my computer, double click and files are now ready to use. Problems: none

A good Camera to start digital photography. I was skeptical at first, but it's a really good camera all around. Sure, there's some pixillation at higher zoom, but that's to be expected. i Highly recommend this camera. Problems: a little grainy at high zoom.

Purchased this camera because of the 10x zoom and ease of using floppies that allow me to go on clicking till i exhaust my box of floppies. Great for outdoor photography which i do very often. Also good macro capability and the 'Sony' quality as bonus. Problems: inacurate colors while taking photos under flourescent tubelights. no other problem

After using a Mavica 73 for 2 years the screen died. The extended warrinty I have covered repairs, but it took two weeks and I convinced the Sony Store guy to give me one of these for the mean time. Other than the fact that i had to be extra careful (because if i broke it, i bought it) it worked well. I got what i expected. IT IS THE SAME CAMERA AS TH MVC73 but with a silver casing instead of grey.

My mom owns this camera, and thus I've got access to it whenever I really need it, but using it has convinced me I NEED my own. The floppy as a storage medium is wonderful as you can take as many pictures as you like and never worry about running out of space. It's VERY easy to use. I popped it out of the box, revved up the battery, and immediately started taking pictures. Simple. I love it! Problems: absolutely no problems encountered at any time, ever.
