THis was my first digital camera, although it's not a lot of Megapixels I thought the image quality was very good. And I could make about 40 ( If I remember correctly) pictures on one floppy disk, which are very cheap and easy to change once the disk is full. Battery drain is OK, I never had to use a spare battery ( I did take 10 disks of pictures during a 3 hour concert) But .. Problems: ... after 1, years the zoom mechanisme broke down. I sent it to Sony Netherlands and repairing the thing ...

For taking stills this is a great buy, however, for taking action shots for sports such as football the lens is not fast enough nor is the auto-focus. Pictures are our of focus. I am now shopping for a better camera for action shots. Problems: slow lens and focus for action type shots.

Have owned this camera for about a year. The floppy disk is great for sending pics when you are away from your computer since no special program is required to view the pics. Judging it by its mega pixel rating alone would be to highly misjudge this camera. For 5 x 7 or smaller prints this camera, with a good printer will give you great outdoor prints. However my indoor photos have not been as good. A lot of noise is picked up on photos taken inside, mostly in lower level lighting. This can ...

A good camera for the beginer to digital photography. Durable camera will stand up to heavy use (try not to drop it though). If you are looking at getting better image quality you may want to save your money for a better camera. Problems: Disk errors, long focus times/not focusing at all, pictures are somewhat unclear when tripod or other solid objects are not used to brace the camera

Had to weigh out the options that were important to me. I like the rechargeable battery vs. the AA battery that most other cameras use. Also Not having to connect to the computer via any cables. The Floppy save works good for me though a bit slow. The 10x zoom gets me right in there. Over all I enjoy using this camera

Bought at CompUSA last month for $299... For this price, it's a great camera. Great zoom capability and I love the floppy disk for a storage medium. No memory worries... Wonderful rechargable battery. There is one concern I have about the viewing window getting scrathed or damaged. I'm not sure how this issue can be resolved... Over all, this is a great camera that allows me to take an unlimited amount of pictures anytime I want and say goodbye to the development process of 35mm cameras. Prob ...

I like this camera for the simple reasons of being able to take pictures the instance that I see something interesting. I like to take pictures of animals and scenery, animals make good subjects. I have great photos of my pet cat and use a Xerox 750 to print them. I like this camera and I have many floppy disk to use and the batteries are great. Problems: NO PROBLEMS!
