I owned the WX300 and couldn't really accept the JPEG processing with regards to the excessive high ISO NR.  If you pixel peep to a large extent you won't like the results with the WX350 either, but at 100%, full frame, the results are pleasing and very usable.  The small size for a 25-500mm equivalent zoom is simply amazing!  I find that this camera actually complements my RX100 MKIII and a6000 very well in daily use.  Each model, having it's own purpose and application.  Recently, at a ...

Cant figure out what all the rave reviews are about.  Camera has washed out flash, yellow orange cast to everything, poor resolution, and contrast that wipes out fine luminance gradients.  Sent it back.  Not worth the money.

I own the HX5, HX20 and HX50. The first two are excellent performers when there is little light (inside with only a lamp, or outside with street lamps). The HX50 is really bad. I am so sorry I bought it. Anyway... I now got the WX350 and I am really amazed. Slightly better in low light than the HX20, but smaller than the HX5. I just returned from a two-week trip in which the camera was used every day.  It is terrific! I starts up fast, can take a series of pictures fast, automatically does just about everything, and provides enough ways to override automation that most people need (but probably won't use).  I am amazed by how long the battery life was (I rarely used flash so that may make a difference).  It took a few attempts to figure out panorama mode but once I did, it was used more often than I would have ...
