I have had this camera for over two years now. It is always my " have to have around" camera. I have several DC's and this is the one I take on vacations and use when general shooting is critical. It is so easy to use, and takes great photos, uses 2 AA batteries. It is also the camera I take when I am only allowed to take one camera. Battery life is not as good as some of the new cameras, but photo quality and ease of use is outstanding. The camera has a solid feel construction wise. I ...

read the full review on this camera, it is spot on. I've fired 6,000 or more photos through mine, and printed hundreds of prints, here's my two bob's worth- the good; uses AA batteries, and has good battery life has an optical viewfinder has a useful burst mode no sports mode, but combine the two above and you can actually get the odd reasonable action shot, which is usually a lottery with small digicams. manual mode is very useful, despite only two f stops (you won't get reduced depth of ...

This is an excellent camera for taking quick snap shots. Resolution is excellent and if you are experienced with other digital cameras, this one is very easy to get use to. The only short coming is the 3X optical zoom. Digital zoom is worthless and I will never understand why the industry bother with that feature. The use of low cost AA batteries is what attracted me to this camera when I was looking for a small high pix camera. I would lie to purchase the T100 SONY with the 5X optical ...

The best thing about this camera is that You Will Get The Shot. Its shutter delay is Very low. Construction - Near perfect... could be a bit slimmer. Features - everything that this class of camera needs. In manual mode the shutter/Apature ranges could be better then 2 settings for each. Image Quality - Still images sometimes are "over processed" but great 95 perent of the time. Here're some samples. http://picasaweb.google.com/happinesss/SonyW7 - Videos at 30 fps will nock your socks off. ...

Got this camera yesterday on clearance for $249 ! Feel like i got blessed at that price. For, wherever you look on the web, it is going for high 200's or over $300 ! SWEET! Getting to the camera............. It's a 7 meg camera, of course.. I had the W5 model -- 5 meg a month ago, and the lens froze up on me...might have been able to fix the "error message' that showed "turn camera on and off", if I followed instructions from someone on the web....but i returned it for the cash.... Then this ...

re close to best small camera Sony ever made up till that time but there are some major issues Great color, great detail outside, except at times the chip and lens dont mix. You zoom you almost score but too much blur and unable to make out fine lines indoor.(see below).I never paid 300 dollars for a camera that could not focus simple lines indoor from five to ten feet awayTheir newer chip is a tad better. Maybe the speed of shutter can't match the chip in capturing sharp photo indoor. This ...

I have owned the Sony W7 for about three months, and have taken about 2000 pictures with it. It is my second digital camera, after having owned a Canon s10, and if I were to be offered the opportunity right now to exchange it for another camera in it’s class, I wouldn’t. It has a combination if qualities and features that I haven’t seen in other cameras in the same price range. Nonetheless, I would be highly tempted by the Canon A620 and the Panasonic FX01. ...

I'm very pleased with the results from this camera, which I've been using for a couple of weeks. I prefer AA NiMH cells to lithium-ion batteries, being readily available wherever I travel. To date the battery usage has been good - I'm still on my first charge despite playing around with the menus etc. a lot in addition to taking photos and viewing them. I have big hands and have had to develop the correct grip to use the camera, but it's probably better in this regard than the really compact ...

Great camera for the price. It's a bit small for my big hands but I'm very happy with the overall quality of this camera . My first digital, I've been using a Canon A-1 and Minolta SRT 101 for many years. Problems: The only problem was with shipping from COMP USA. The camera was shipped in it's original box inside another box twice it's size without packing material. The outer box was crushed in places. How it made it in one piece and still operate properly is amazing.

1.) Sharp images at good lighting condition 2.) Picture at maximum digital zoom is quite OK. Problems: 1.) No flash support for multi-burst 2.) Light compensation weakens with low battery 3.) Poor brightness & color compensation at low light conditions (w/o using a flash) 4.) Poor autofocus at times 5.) Slow image processing time at night mode 6.) No protection for the LCD screen from scratches 7.) Need to have Telephoto lenses
