Just got this camera today and have been testing it. I have - and have been disappointed in pic quality with the DSCV3. My wife has the DSC200, which is a great mini-cam, but I haven't been thrilled with pic quality. So, I got this one to try. Unbelievable pic quality with it! Far surpasses the other two that we own - you can see facial fuzz in the close-ups! I'll keep playing with it, but think it's a "keeper." Problems: None yet.

A friend bought this camera and gave me a chance to play with it. The camera looks very stylish, compact, fast enough, has decent lens (for the class). That would be my full list of its advantages the rest are disadvantages. The results are quite disappointing for such a relatively expensive camera. Overpopulated sensor (7 megapixels!) produces a lot of artifacts (color fringing etc.) and dirty looking noise at high sensivity. There's a lot of signs of digital processing (noise reduction and ...

I'bought this camera 2 weeks ago and i'm very pleased with it's results. After reading lots of reviews on the web and in magazines I decided to buy this camera, and it was worth every penny I spent on it. The pictures are very sharp and very lively colours, really what you see is what you get. It's easy to use and has a lot of features. If you want a camera which is easy to take with you and produces good quality pictures I recommend this camera. Problems: none

The W7 is my fun carry around camera. Took me a while to obtain clear photos; blurriness resulted from camera shake since it is a very small camera. I adjusted the sharpness and flash features. I'm happy with this expensive littler camera! Problems: Red-eye is a problem and so it is also with the W1 & W5. Batteries could last longer especially when shooting with flash.

Send my W7 back to the store. The pics were poor even in daylight. Sad. I really like the camera, good looking, fast but unfort noise and no sharpness in pics. Maybee a bad ex.

Absolutly great camera. I wanted a camera that I could take anywhere and would do a good job with photo quality... The W7 takes really great photos, very easy to use and offers a little bit more than just point and shoot. Great Screen for viewing photos... much better than the W1 (even with less res), great batt life, nice solid construction... great with indoor shots... and not too bad on red eye (much better than the SD500 for red eye). The movie mode is great. This would make a perfect ...

Just purchased a W-7 (black body) the other day after much consternation over the decision to go with the Canon SD500, Sony P-200, or the W7 (several months and reading reviews ad nauseam). The reviews certainly haven’t been stellar on the w7, although not bad — kind of neutral (good camera, but...). In fact the reviews and user responses appeared to favor only somewhat the SD500. Very little has been forwarded on the W7, except for (I believe) two professional reviews. Again, good; not ...

Very fast response time, great battery life and Bright, clear LCD even for the resolution being fairly low! My ratings and test picture should speak for itself: img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/lennox83/DSC00156.jpg Problems: I don't really like the rubber flap over the USB port and the new way to hook up an AC adapter is ridiculous.

Well, I bought this to upgrade from a dsc-p92, and I was surprisingly disappointed. I must have gotten one of the bad ones out there...In low light situations, it had a truly amazing blurry flare around brighter objects, and far more noise than I was expecting in general. (I also have an F717, so I am not a novice at using these things.) The large display was really quite nice, but the overall performance was very disappointing. It went back to the store...and I am getting one of the ...
