I replaced my P72 with this due to size, this fits in the top pocket of my suit when I am on business trips. It looks good, mine is black (and for a while black ones cost extra and had the designation W115 as mine has) However the image quality is very poor, the noise is terrible as the camera often wacks the ISO up and I also get blurred images if I am not very very careful, not exactly point and shoot. Great little camera for street photography, unobtrusive shirt pocket sized but with the F2.8 at the wide end and reasonably high usable ISO range, very effective in all manner of light conditions. It is sharp (Leica lens) and quite quick focusing. Not quite a Leica D-Lux4 but at a fraction of the Leica's cost, not a bad toy for those who like candid or street photography and don't want to risk their more expensive equipment. I am a keen photographer but have always chosen the easy way out by buying small, easy to use, point and shoot cameras. This is my third Sony and by far the worst. Even my very first DSCP72 took better pictures. My next, a DSCP100 was very good until it broke down after four years. To Sony’s credit, they honoured their extended warranty (after a lively discussion) and replaced it with this disaster.
